Jin Xiong received the Bachelor’s degree from Sichuan University, China in 1990, the Master’s degree from Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 1993, and the PhD degree from Graduate University of Chinese  Academy of Sciences in 2006. She is currently a professor at Institute of  Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is also a senior member   of China Computer Federation (CCF) and a member of CCF Technical Committee of   Information Storage Technology, IEEE and ACM. After she joined ICT in 1993,    she worked for the research and development of Dawning series supercomputers.    From 2001, she was in charge of the research and development of the cluster    file systems for Dawning series supercomputers, including DCFS, DCFS2, LionFS,     DCFS3 and HVFS. She got the Second Prize of China Science and Technology     Progress Awards in 2006, the Outstanding Achievements Awards from Chinese     Academy of Sciences in 2005 and the First Prize of Science and Technology     Progress Awards from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000. Her current research      interests include big data storage and management, storage systems and file      systems.
