Research Areas

Mainly engaged in research on coal and biomass pyrolysis, gasification and combustion; VOC emission Control. Invited IPE Power – a Pyrolysis Bridged Hybrid Power System for low rank coal power production.


Education

Graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology, receiving Master Degree in Thermal Energy Engineering in 1985; Obtained Doctor Degree of Process Engineering from Institute National Polytechnique de Lorraine, France in 2004.

Work Experience

Was worked as an engineer at Herman Research Laboratory, MelbourneAustralia, between 1986 and 1987. Then moved to Beijing Research Institute of Coal Chemistry, China Coal Research Institute, as an Engineer, then Senior Engineer and Deputy Director of Combustion Laboratory. Since 1997, joined IPE as a Senior Engineer and then Professor.


Publications

Published more than 60 research papers and applied more than 20 Patents. Participated in the published book “Brown Coal Utilization Technology” and “Multi-Scale Simulation of Particle-Fluid Complex System”.
