研究领域
RNA沉默是一种在动植物中广泛存在的抵抗外源RNA和病毒的适应性免疫反应机制。能产生信号并系统运输是植物RNA沉默最重要的特征,即系统RNA沉默,也是植物抗病毒最关键的一环。另外,siRNA参与DNA甲基化和染色质重塑,使RNA沉默成为表观遗传学 (Epigenetic)研究领域的重要课题。本研究组以模式植物拟南芥、烟草和重要的经济作物棉花为寄主材料,以病毒和真菌为病原微生物,围绕植物RNA沉默和miRNA调控途径,以及其他受病原影响的调控途径开展病原微生物-寄主的相互作用研究,剖析植物致病机理。目前开展以下两方面的研究:
1、植物RNA沉默的分子机制及其抗病应用研究;
2、植物与真菌的互作机理及维管束真菌病害的防控策略研究。
